 <title>Alliance for Biking and Walking awards $125,000 for advocacy</title>

The Advocacy Advance Grants will be used to jump-start emerging advocacy organizations and to fund innovative campaigns with the potential to dramatically increase biking and walking.  <title>Industry Leader Bruno Maier Joins Bikes Belong Staff</title>

BOULDER, CO – Bruno Maier, one of the bike industry&#039;s most respected sales and marketing professionals, will join the Bikes Belong staff on June 1 as the organization&#039;s fulltime membership and development director.&lt;br /&gt;

Maier, who will work from Bikes Belong&#039;s Colorado headquarters, will lead the non-profit&#039;s membership recruitment and retention programs. He will also help develop new non-endemic corporate and foundation support for the Bikes Belong Coalition and the Bikes Belong Foundation.&lt;br /&gt;

 <title>Bikes Belong Research Symposium Achieves Goals</title>

With 11 researchers in attendance from such diverse fields as urban planning, architecture, public health, civil engineering, environmental science, and public policy, the symposium provided a rare meeting of the minds to share ideas about the relationship between bike advocacy and research.&lt;br /&gt;
