Bikes Belong's $4,500 grant helped Portland's Alliance for Transportation Choice plan and implement their city bicycle network, consisting of 25 miles of bikeways and routes linking the downtown area with recreational trails, beaches, neighborhoods, and suburban communities.

DC Metro Branch Trail

Marin County North-South Greenway

The Marin County Bicycle Coalition created the North-South Greenway to provide a non-motorized transportation corridor that parallels Highway 101, connecting transit centers, downtown areas, schools, and residences. Bikes Belong's early support helped the coalition secure federal and state funding for the project

Hank Aaron Trail

The Bicycle Federation of Wisconsin used our grant for the construction and implementation of the Hank Aaron Trail. Located in Milwaukee, the trail links the Miller Park baseball stadium with Lakeshore State Park and the Summerfest Grounds.
