Bikes Belong has distributed 30,000 copies of our booklet, Bicycling: Moving America Forward, since 2005. This document is an invaluable tool to demonstrate the many benefits of bicycling. We have just completed a major update of the booklet, and the new edition is hot off the press.

The 2008 version includes four more pages, bringing the total to 20. The new booklet includes more focus on today’s hot topics: bicycling for transportation, safe routes to school, complete streets, and bike-sharing programs. In addition, all the statistics and charts have been updated with the most recent numbers available.

With rising gas prices and climate change concerns, the new booklet will help gain additional support for bicycling—particularly leading up to the next reauthorization of the federal transportation bill, in 2009. Anticipating high demand, we’ve printed 20,000 copies.
