Bikes Belong has just published a solutions-oriented report that examines BMX use of parks that have been built and managed primarily for skaters. These venues are a natural opportunity for bicycling, since BMXers enjoy many of the same features as skateboarders. Yet BMX use of skateparks has raised concerns about liability, compatibility with skateboarders, and potential damage to park surfaces. Our document offers advice on making it work.
