Bikes Belong joined IMBA and Mountain Trails Foundation, a local trail and bike advocacy group, to bring bicycling to the Western Governor’s Association’s annual meeting June 14 - 16. The group convened in Park City, UT for two days of meetings that focused on climate change and energy independence in the American West. We were in attendance to present bicycling as one simple solution to these complex issues—and a way to truly experience and enjoy the West’s public lands.

Local volunteers from Mountain Trails Foundation and ride leaders from Park City’s Cole Sports and White Pine Touring—which also provided the fleet of bikes—led our delegates on the best trails, paths, and roads the area has to offer. These bike shops and trail stewards truly rolled out the red carpet for our group—thanks to everyone who participated in the fun!
